Compliance

Calling rules are built in, not left to you.

Most AI calling tools leave the law to their customers. Outreon checks each country's rules before every call and makes every call honest about who is calling.

Rules by country

Each client account has a calling mode set by its country. The dialer will not call a number that the mode does not allow.

WhereWho the AI may callWhy
United StatesBusiness landlines, fixed VoIP and toll-free numbers, checked with the carrier before dialing. Cell phones only with written consent.Since 2024 the FCC treats AI voices as artificial voices under the TCPA. Sales calls with them to cell phones need prior express written consent.
IsraelOnly contacts marked as consented. New businesses wait in a "needs consent" list.Section 30A of the Communications Law requires prior consent for automated advertising calls.
EU and UKOnly contacts marked as consented, unless a lawyer confirms otherwise for your country.GDPR and national rules; some countries require opt-in even for business calls.
Any accountCan be paused at once, and nothing is dialed while paused. So a campaign can stop the moment something looks wrong.

What happens on every call

  • The agent says which company it is calling for
  • It says it is an AI assistant and that the call is recorded
  • It never claims to be a person
  • It leaves a callback number in voicemails
  • "Don't call me" ends the call and blocks the number

Opt-outs that stick

A number that asks not to be called is marked do-not-call and is never dialed again. Client users cannot undo it; only Outreon staff can, on a written request from that person.

Anyone can also stop calls online at outreon.com/opt-out.

Data and security

  • Each client's data is separated in the database by row-level security
  • All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
  • Recordings and transcripts are kept for the client's account and deleted on request
  • Access to client data is limited to the client's users and Outreon admins

Services we use

Retell AI (calls and voice), Google Places (finding businesses), Twilio (line type checks), Supabase (database and logins), Resend (email), Cloudflare (website). The full list with locations is in our privacy policy.

What our customers agree to

Compliance is shared. Our terms ask every customer to:

Use lawful listsOnly upload contacts they are allowed to call, and record consent where the country needs it.
Tell the truthNo false claims in the script, no pretending to be someone else, no hidden caller ID.
Respect opt-outsNever ask us to call a number that opted out, on Outreon or elsewhere.

This page explains how Outreon works. It is not legal advice; check your campaign with a lawyer in each country you call.
